1 x Olê Whole Wheat Tortilla
2 x eggs, scrambled
Diced red capsicum
Cooked crispy bacon strips (optional)
Spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the entire Tortilla surface. Mix some diced onion and red capsicum with the scrambled eggs. Season to taste. Spread the mixture on one half of the tortilla. Add bacon strips if preferred. Roll tortilla and enjoy!
Almond Crusted French Toast With Strawberries
12 slices Golden Hearth Organic Rye
1 cup roasted almonds, finely ground
1 cup strawberries
3 large eggs
½ cup vanilla yoghurt
½ cup milk
3 tablespoons butter/margarine
Create strawberry topping: stem and slice strawberries; toss with sugar. Set aside. In a large shallow bowl, layer the ground almonds. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, yogurt and milk until well blended.
Heat the butter (1/2 tablespoon per slice of Golden Hearth Organic Rye) in a large skillet or griddle until the butter is melted and foamy. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, then into the ground almonds and cook over medium heat until lightly browned on both sides (approx. 2.5 to 3 minutes per side).
Serve warm with strawberry topping for a delicious start to the day!

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Crisped streaky bacon (recommended!)

Bacon and Blue Cheese Melt
2-3 slices bacon
5-6 slices of red and yellow capsicum
1-2 slices Golden Hearth Organic Stoneground Light
On one piece of Golden Hearth Organic Stoneground Light bread, arrange slices of crispy cooked bacon. Sprinkle thinly sliced red and yellow capsicum, followed by generous chunks of Blue cheese. Grill in oven. When grilling is complete, add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper, a twig of fresh parsley and serve.
